![]() Embodiment Training focuses on the following nine practices. All practitioners explore the first six of these practices. The last three depend on circumstances and personal inclinations. The most luxurious medium in which to practice Gazing at the Beloved is a body temperature, chest deep pool of water. The woman wraps her legs around her man's waist, and the partners connect through their gaze. Then, the man begins to surrender to spontaneous movements and dances his partner around the pool. At some point, the man may start to turn on an axis and begin to spin. The gaze will ground you both and prevent you from becoming dizzy or queasy. Surrender to the spinning, around and around and around. Gradually, you will become one phenomenon and enter into an awareness that neither of you could so easily attain on your own. It's like oxygen coming into the presence of hydrogen, and suddenly water is formed. We call this phenomenon of two bodies becoming one "Coctopus," the eight legged water creature. |
